Cotol-240 plus can be used to degrease the bonding surfaces.
It is the world's best product for diluting Aquasure and applying a first coat.
This allows the Aquasure adhesive to be applied in a super thin layer. The first layer should be as thin as possible so that it can flow into the pores of the rubber, neoprene and so on.
Then dilute less and less and apply several thin coats before the latest layer of adhesive is completely dry.
Finally, apply Aquasure without thinning.
If you need to protect something to prevent mechanical wear, you can also use this.
This method with multiple layers of adhesive is suitable for creating a uniform layer with a bomb-proof bond. There is no better product.
