The Proteus II is undoubtedly the best performing wetsuit on the market.
Available in 3mm and 5mm, the Proteus II is often the benchmark to which other neoprene wetsuits are compared in terms of warmth.
By combining the now famous Hydrolock internal neck seal and Glideskin wrist seals, water ingress is kept to a minimum.
The seams are double, glued, blind and taped to provide exceptional thermal protection throughout the dive.
Additional Hexcore coatings on the core of the body provide improved thermal performance where it is needed most for prolonged exposure to water.
PROTEUS II 3mm
The 3mm wetsuit is probably the only wetsuit in the world of this thickness to feature such advanced features, allowing it to function more similarly to other 5mm wetsuits with more flexibility and less buoyancy.
We recommend water temperatures of 23°C (73°F) and warmer, but we know of many divers taking it to much cooler waters.
To get more out of any wetsuit in colder waters, combine it with a Thermocline vest and shorts underneath and use a hood (3mm or 5mm).
PROTEUS II 5mm
The 5mm suit is a versatile performer.
Thanks to the improved fit, the suit is easier to put on than the classic Proteus, but its thermal performance is even better.
We recommend the 5mm wetsuit for extended dives in temperatures of 19°C and warmer.
To get more out of any wetsuit in colder waters, combine it with a Thermocline vest and shorts underneath and use a hood (3mm or 5mm).
